RV

Life on the open road, it doesn’t get much better than that.

An RV or recreational vehicle is basically a home on wheels or a home on a trailer.

How much do RV’s weigh?

Weights are going to vary greatly depending on the type, size and options.

Most range from 1,100 pounds to 8,800 pounds (500 to 4,000 kg).

There are many different categories of RV which include campervans, motorhomes, caravans, and pop-up campers.

RV’s can range from basic living to full-on luxury including satellite tv, king size beds and fitted kitchens with top of the range RV’s costing upwards of half a million dollars.

The very first motorized campervans were produced in 1910.

The vast majority of RV’s will be single deck although double deck RV’s do exist they are not very widespread.

Although many people will use their RV for leisure, some people will use an RV as their fulltime residence.

Over 8 million households in the United States own an RV.

The world’s most expensive RV will set you back a cool $3 million dollars and is produced by a company called Marchi Mobile.
