Interesting tidbits about bricks:

Bricks of all shapes and sizes have been used by man for thousands of years. They’ve been used in making a wide range of domestic dwellings, commercial buildings, walls, pavements, roads, and many other constructions.

Made from clay, fly-ash or mortar, these small building blocks are strong, durable and energy efficient.

They also add a touch of style to any building.

As time has gone by, it has become necessary for each country to introduce standard brick sizes.

In the United States, official brick sizes are decided by the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM).
