 ~ Fun Fact ~
For many years, the Corgi has had a lot of connections with royalty. Queen Elizabeth II of England is one of the most famous royals in recent years to keep these iconic dogs.

During her lifetime, she has owned as many as 30 Pembroke Welsh Corgis. All were descendants of one of her first pets who was called ‘Susan’!

However, the number of Corgis roaming the palace has been greatly reduced in recent year. The Queen has decided not to breed them anymore, because she does not want to leave any of these dogs behind when she dies.
