The human gallbladder, which is around 3 to 4 inches long and 1.5 inches wide, is pretty small.
It’s also very light, weighing in at 2 to 2.5 ounces (56 to 71 g). That’s the weight of about 3 AA batteries!
What you may find odd is that a healthy person can live a normal life without their gallbladder. It is not considered to be a vital organ.
