~Fun Fact~

If you have ever watched a game of cricket, you may have noticed that the fielders and bowlers rub the cricket ball on their trousers. When they do this, they make one side of the ball shiny and smooth, while the other side has a rough surface.

This imbalanced ball surface allows players to have greater control over the direction and swing of each ball they throw. This part of the game was deemed to be so important that many cricket teams featured a person whose main task was to do nothing else but shine the cricket ball!
